VEGETABLE VARIETIES FOR GARDENERS: The Cornell Cooperative Extension has launched a website at www.cce.cornell.edu/veg to search and browse through more than 2000 varieties of vegetables. Website visitors can also read reviews, compare varieties and follow links to purchase seeds.
MEDICAL QI GONG: The Springs of Clifton will hold this class every Monday from 12:05 to 12:55 p.m. in the third floor dining room at Clifton Springs Hospital and Clinic, 2 Coulter Road. Les Moore, Naturopathic Doctor and Licensed Acupuncturist will teach the ancient art of physical fitness, relaxation and meditation for enhancing health. Each session is $5.00. SINGERS NEEDED by the Finger Lakes Chorale of Finger Lakes Community College. Rehearsals will begin January 25 with concerts performed April 29 and May 1 (Charles Gounod's "Messe Solennelle de Sainte Cecile"). Auditions not required, prior choral singing experience is necessary. A $5.00 non-credit registration fee is payable at first rehearsal. College credit may be earned with paid tuition. SHORTSVILLE MANCHESTER AREA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE meets the second Wednesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. The January 2005 meeting will be held at the Manchester Village Hall, 8 Clifton Street. All are welcome and encouraged to attend.

CROSS COUNTRY SKIING: Join Ontario Pathways for this favorite winter event on the trail on Sunday, January 23 from 10:00 a.m. to 12 noon. The group will meet at the Stanley Junction trailhead on Mott Road. Free and open to all (children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult). No pets, please. Refreshments will be provided.
