      Everyone has personal belongings such as wedding photographs, family heirlooms and maybe grandma's pie plate. Each contains meaning for them and other family members. Planning to pass on such items can be challenging and could lead to conflict. The video provides practical information about the transferal of non-titled property. (NOTE: This educational resource is not a substitute for legal advice or counsel.)
     A 94 page workbook is also available for $12.95. Topics covered include: understanding non-titled property transfer, how to initiate discussions about sensitive issues, deciding what you want to accomplish, determining what "fair" means, identifying special objects and sharing the stories about them, analyzing distribution options and consequences, setting ground rules, and managing conflicts.
