I must apologize fer chewin' the same chaw on a coupla things. Would yer t' put up with is social security problem, which ain't if h' look close. The Brit's tried privatizin', went broke, now they need another program.
Simply, what's needed is a coupla percent taken outta each paycheck, like a parallel system t' the present social security. Put inta mutual funds in stock market. When people reach sixty five, start withdrawin' like done now. Knowin' the govmint there hasta be a skunk in the woodpile somewhere, lobbyists'll git their percentage. Minute y' let people have their own account they'll find reasons t' spend it. This suggests y' set up same system like social security, only invested in the stock market. 'Nuff sed, write yer legislator, they won't listen anyway, but it'll keep the Post Office solvent.
I din't notice our govmint givin' credit t' our GI's, an' Iraqi women voters credit fer pullin' chestnuts outta the fire. No, they bragged up a storm when they din't deserve credit. They haven't credited our GI's fer service after the tsunami. M'chuckle is American people raised more money in 48 hours than Bushie gave initially. Common folk do great things. Veterans have done wonders fer countries they've served in, although one can condemn killin' of innocents. Question I pose t' people is when yer life is in danger y' gonna ask questions first? War is like deer huntin' when they shoot back, ever think o' that? Commies in Korea usta give kids grenades, have them approach soldiers, pull the pin, goodbye land!
There's one point which must be made, though. Funny that through all events there's always people wantin' t' serve their own interest, killin' people, like Tamil or rebels in Indonesia. Never mind people starvin', leaders want their percentage first?
Know this is a double chaw also, but Medicaid is outta control. Now Pataki an' his two friends're tryin' t' find ways t' reduce it. Any plan they draw up'll be thrown out by the courts, or defeated because of votes in high Medicaid areas. Doc Pilltile sed Medicaid people take too much medicine, because they don't hafta pay fer it. Won't even pay co-pay since activists say they don't hafta. State sez charge it, Medicaid people say lottsa luck, charge the state, an' they won't pay it either. Employers employ people part-time, keep 'em under poverty level so they kin git benefits. Ain't that a form of subsidizin' Mart prices? Same with disability payments, part of social security. Opine sed one third of social security payments ain't for us ol' goats, goes fer dependent kids, disability. Wonder how many disability people workin' under the table, which means they ain't payin' taxes or social security, right?
'Nuff sed on this tirade. Write yer Congressman, even t' say hello! Executive secretary Ms. Prissy'll look fer a check, file 13 fer the letter.
