CLIFTON SPRINGS HOSPITAL & CLINIC RECEIVES EMERGENCY CARDIOVASCULAR CARE COMMUNITY TRAINING CENTER AWARD FOR THE SECOND CONSECUTIVE YEAR

Clifton Springs, NY- The American Heart Association has recently awarded Clifton Springs Hospital & Clinic (CSH&C) the "Emergency Cardiovascular Care Community Training Center Award". This award is in recognition of CSH&C's outstanding performance, leadership and professionalism in advancing the mission of the American Heart Association and Emergency Cardiovascular Care.
Clifton Springs Hospital & Clinic's training center, led by coordinator Patty Dlugosh, has been recognized as one of Western New York's top 10 Training Centers for two consecutive years, 2003 and 2004.
Clifton Springs Hospital works in association with Training Sites at Brownstone Physical Therapy, Macedon; KB Training, Canandaigua; Marion Central School District, Marion; Palmyra Macedon Central School District, Palmyra and Wayne Finger Lakes BOCES, Newark, Williamson, Clifton Springs, Flint.
Organizations receiving this award are leaders in assisting the American Heart Association in reaching their 2010 Impact Goal of reducing the risk of cardiovascular disease and stroke by 25%.
