NYS DRY BEAN GROWERS
      will hold their annual meeting on Tuesday, March 15 from 9:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. at DiPacific's Restaurant, at the corner of Routes 96 and 332, Farmington. 1st ANNUAL EASTER EGG HUNT……….
      for the Youth of Shortsville-Manchester. Sunday, March 20, 1:00 p.m. at Manchester Park and Fireman's Field. Kids 12 and under - $2.00 donation per child (proceeds to benefit St. Jude Children's Cancer Research Hospital). Free refreshments and prize drawings. Please help sponsor the youth of your community

PRE-SCHOOL STORY HOUR……….
      will be held on Tuesdays, March 10, 17 and 31 at 6:30 p.m. at the Red Jacket Community Library, 1506 Route 21, Shortsville. Children ages 3 to 5 can enjoy free stories, crafts, songs, finger plays and more. Phone 585-289-3559 to register.

SPA MEALS NEEDS YOUR HELP!
     Senior citizens are served evening meals on weekdays, (except holidays), 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. in the basement of the Spa Apartments. Volunteer servers are needed to help in this fun project. Call Helen Hess at 315-462-7906

TUTOR TRAINING:
      Literacy Volunteers of Ontario County will hold tutor training for Basic Literacy and English for Speakers of Other Languages in March. The training is designed for persons interested in helping adults learn to read and write or to help adults learn to speak English. An orientation will be held on Monday, March 21 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the LVOC office at 208 Main St., Canandaigua. Workshop sessions will follow every Monday and Thursday evening thru April 18. Tutors must be at least 18 years old, high school graduate (or GED), be able to attend entire program and complete homework assignments, be willing to devote two or more hours per week, and keep basic records.
