Phillips' Marionettes

The following items have been added to the Phillips' Marionettes display at the Foster Cottage Museum: A Suzy Snowflake marionette (23" tall), a 30" tall all wood Pinocchio that was made in Italy, and an authentic Rocking Horse that measures 25" high and is 18.5" long. The bottom rockers are 36" long. (The rocking horse is characteristic of an ageless tradition in toys.) During the years of 1980-1983 the Phillips' Marionettes presented their 25-minute special show at the Midtown Plaza in Rochester, NY. The show was "A Musical Christmas In Toyland" and three shows were given every Saturday and Sunday starting the weekend following Thanksgiving and continuing through the last weekend in December. Our local Museum is showing the same Christmas show on their TV for the entire month of December.
