Rosalie T. Traicchio DeMarco
NEWARK/ATTLEBORO, Mass. - Rosalie T. Traicchio DeMarco, 78, of Attleboro, Mass., formerly a resident of Newark, died Friday, April 29, 2005.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Wednesday, May 4 at St. John the Evangelist Church, in Attleboro, Entombment was Monday, May 9 at the White Haven Memorial Park Mausoleum, in Pittsford. A memorial Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Tuesday, May 10 at St. Michael's Church in Newark.
Memorial donations may be made to St. John the Evangelist Church, 133 N. Main St., Attleboro, MA 02703; or to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, 44 Binny St., Boston, MA 02215.
Rosalie was born Aug. 29, 1926, in Newark, the beloved daughter of Joseph and Rose Marone Traicchio. She was a lifelong resident of Newark until moving to Attleboro in November 2003, to be close to her cherished family.
She was the widow of Thomas C. DeMarco Sr., whom she married Aug. 18, 1948, and who died in August 1995. Mrs. DeMarco was a 1944 graduate of Newark High School and later took several college courses.
She had been a secretary at the Clifton Springs Hospital from 1980 to 1995, when she retired. Previously, she had been employed at the Lincoln-Rochester Savings Bank. She was a communicant of St. Michael's Church and was a volunteer for the Martha's Ministries.
She leaves two sons, Thomas C. DeMarco Jr. and his wife, Theresa Haggerty DeMarco, of Norton, Mass.; and Lawrence A. DeMarco of Attleboro; four beloved grandchildren, Angela and Thomas C. DeMarco III and Vincenzo and Liliana DeMarco, all of Massachusetts; and several nieces and nephews.
She was a sister of the late Paul and James Traicchio and Mary Comella.

Tina M. Gordner
SENECA CASTLE - Tina M. Gordner, 36, of 2098 Buffalo St., died Tuesday, May 3, 2005 at the Clifton Springs Hospital, surrounded by her family and friends after a long, courageous battle with cancer.
Friends called at the Cheney Funeral Home in Phelps. A Mass of Christian Burial was held Friday, May 6 in St. Felix Church in Clifton Springs by the Rev. Thomas Mull; burial will be in St. Agnes Cemetery in Clifton Springs.

Tina was born March 25, 1969, in Clifton Springs, the daughter of Elmer and Betty Maslyn Gordner. She was a member of St. Felix Church, worked at Abbey Industries and attended the day treatment program at Ontario ARC for many years.
Tina attended the day program at Happiness House in Canandaigua for the last year and a half. Tina loved music and dancing and she always looked forward to attending summer camp at Camp Good Days and Special Times.
Tina is survived by her parents, Elmer and Betty Gordner of Seneca Castle; and siblings, Tim Gordner of Clifton Springs, Theresa (Jamie) Norcott of Waterloo, Tom (Gail Davis) Gordner of Seneca Castle, and Elmer (Jill) Gordner Jr. of Fairport; a niece, Jennifer (David) Gruschow of Phelps; three nephews, Bryan Norcott of Waterloo, Thomas Jr. and Augie Gordner of Canandaigua; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and many special friends.
She was predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Elmer and Margaret Maslyn; and paternal grandparents Sidney and Olive Gordner.
Paul Frederic Hadsell
PHELPS - Paul Frederic Hadsell, 85, of 29 Banta St., formerly of 99 Lewis St. Apt. 502, in Geneva, died quietly at home Friday, April 29, 2005.
A family service is going to be held at their convenience.
It is suggested that memorial donations be made to Ontario-Yates Hospice, 756 Pre-Emption Road, Geneva 14456; or to the Phelps Ambulance Inc., 7 Exchange St., Phelps 14532.
Paul was born Oct. 15, 1919, in Vine Valley, the son of Fred and Hazel Parmelee Hadsell. On Nov. 18, 1939, he married Evelyn Belcraft. He served in the Navy with the 143rd Seabees in the South Pacific during World War II.
Paul worked as a machinist and later joined the carpenters Local 1508 in Lyons. He became a well-known finish carpenter and cabinet maker in the Waterloo-Geneva area.
Paul was a life member of the VFW post 2670 and a member of the Phelps American Legion Post 457 and the Geneva Masonic Lodge 965. He enjoyed camping and spending time with his family and friends.
Paul is survived by one son, Paul F. (Anne) Hadsell of Phelps; a granddaughter, Renee Mobley of Phelps; a sister, Blanche Brown of Batavia; a brother, Gerald (Diane) Ellis of Newark; a niece, Bonnie Hall of Batavia; two nephews, Ronald (Barbara) Brown of Lady Lakes, Fla. and Richard (Betty) Brown of Wildwood, Fla.; many great- and great-great-nieces and -nephews; and very dear friend Theodore Mullen of Phelps.
Paul was predeceased by his beloved wife of 63 years, Evelyn Hadsell; his brother, Alden Hadsell and very dear friend and sister in the battle against cancer, Mary Jane Mullen.
Funeral Arrangements have been made by the Cheney Funeral Home in Phelps.
Mrs. Marcella Temple Naeve
PHELPS - Mrs. Marcella Temple Naeve, 82, died Thursday, April 28, 2005 at the Huntington Living Center in Waterloo.
Friends called Monday, May 2 at the Cheney Funeral Home in Phelps. Funeral services followed with the Rev. Anthony Calimeri officiating. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery in Phelps.
It is suggested that memorial donations may be made to Lifetime Care, 1120 S. Main St., Newark 14513.
Mrs. Naeve was born Sept. 4, 1922, in Rochester, the daughter of the late Martin and Loretta Prahler Casey. She was a graduate of Livonia Central School. She retired from the Newark State School after more than 20 years of service. Mrs. Naeve enjoyed crafts and loved knitting and sewing. She also enjoyed painting and wood carving. Her true love was her children, and she was affectionately known as "Goggie." She was married to the late Lee Temple, who died in 1974.
She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Glenn C. Naeve of Phelps; her children, Thomas (Sandra) Temple of Florida, Robert (Ruth) Temple of Iowa, Martin Temple of Seneca Falls, Joyce (Gerald) Larsen of Cornwall and David Naeve of Florida; a sister, Mary Bailey of Rochester; 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a brother, Robert Casey and a sister, Elizabeth Springer.
Ethel R. Warburton
OSWEGO - Ethel R. Warburton, 96, died Monday, May 2, 2005 at St. Luke's Residence in Oswego.
After a graveside service Saturday, May 21, her ashes will be buried in Glenwood Cemetery in Perry alongside her first husband.
Memorial donations may be made to the Literacy Volunteers of Oswego County, 100 E. 1st Street, Oswego 13126; or the branch office in Pulaski.
She was born near Lyons, the daughter of Ina and Sealey Peck. A graduate of Geneseo Normal School, she taught in Perry, Phelps Central and Newark schools.
An avid golfer, she assisted with and participated in golf opens at Pinehurst, N.C., while living in Southern Pines, N.C. She will be remembered fondly for her inspirational paintings, crafts, dress making and marionettes.
Surviving are a daughter, Sheri Czerwiak of Fulton; a son, C. Martin Weigel of Pulaski; granddaughters, Kristina DuBois of Amsterdam, Renee Maxwell of Phoenix and Amy Lugowski of Colorado; grandsons, Eric Weigel of Fairport and Andrew Weigel of Pulaski; sisters, Blanche Gifford, Gertrude Bennett and Shirley Totman; brothers, Robert Peck and Dr. Nathan Peck; many nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Patrick Funeral Home in Clifton Springs.
