Poem of the Week

CLIFTON SPRINGS
By Ralph J. Adams
No matter where in the world I am at,
I always go back to that little spot on the map.
Memories of this little town are so dear,
They lingered in my heart for so many years.
Now I am older and many new faces I see,
New buildings and renovations of the old,
Patterns and colors bright and bold.
Adorn the streets of our little town.
Yes it keeps with the modern and takes in the old,
For history in the future to behold.
Our town is quaint, with its beautiful homes,
Parks and brooks lined with stately trees,
Yes, this is the town for beauty to see.
People are friendly with a smile they greet,
As they shop in the little stores on the street.
Relaxing and calmness, this little town brings.
This little town of Clifton Springs.
