I found an address in one of the Sunday papers, www.anysoldier.com. I thought that it would be nice if I could do something for our soldiers. Then I thought that since Z-Axis does events through the year for our local charities (bake sales, charity lunches, raffles), our employees may want to do something also. It went over very well. We put out boxes for items to be brought in by our employees. We also had a charity lunch and made $103.00 from our lunch. Carl and Judy Beechler bought a $50.00 Wal-Mart card that we raffled off for $1.00/ticket of $5.00/7 tickets. We made a total of $86.00 that we added to the pot. For the $189.00 and what employees brought in, we were able to package 14 boxes to send to several locations we found on the website...[Read full story]
