Plenary Sessions, Breakfast Topic Tables, Workshop Sessions and networking takes place during the two-day conference. The Relatives as Parents Program was initiated in 1996. It is designed to encourage and promote the creation or expansion of services for grandparents and other relatives who have taken on the responsibility of surrogate parenting. The program awards seed grants over a two-year period in two categories: local agencies and Public State agencies.
