Week # 8

McGhans 3
Monroe-Gorman / Wendys 2
*******************
WOW !! EXCELLENT DEFENSE by both teams. Definitely the highlight of this game. 7 quick, "knock 'em down" innings resulted in a fast pace, low scoring game. McGhans left fielder displayed her golden glove. Jill Wallace had 3singles, Nancy 2 singles and Erin Marshall a double. Monroe-Gorman team mates, Candi Morgan, Tracy Miller, and Lisa Feiock surprised McGhans with a fantastic 3rd to 2nd double play. Short stop, Sam Reynolds stayed hot on her toes. Hard line drives caught by Tracy Miller, Sam Reynolds and Lisa Feiock added to the excitement.
Stay tuned, Segment 2, McGhans vs. Monroe-Gorman Wendys, should be another interesting game !
