Poem of the Week

POEM
By Ralph J. Adams
AT THE END OF THE DAY
At the end of the day, when I say my prayer.
Have I completed my day with loving care,
Did I listen to someone with an open mind,
And not be judgmental at any time
When they were low and depressed
Did I ease their mind and put it to rest.
Did I open the door and help someone in,
Did I greet them with a smile or grin.
When they felt low, did I show concern,
Or help them in a new page to turn.
Make their day fruitful, throw their troubles away,
If I didn't do those things today my day is not complete,
But tomorrow is another day and these chores I'll try to meet
My day will be fruitful, throw my troubles away,
And hope tomorrow my prayers will be answered
At The End Of My Day
