FINGER LAKES COUNCIL BOY SCOUTS ELECTS OFFICERS
|
On Thursday, June 16, the Finger Lakes Council Boy Scouts of America held its annual business meeting, at which time council members elected officers and executive board members.
Dr. James Tobin, of Macedon, retired superintendent of Palmyra Macedon Central School, was elected to a second term as council president. Charles Callari of Farmington was elected council commissioner and Victor Lonsberry of Stanley was elected National Council Representative. Dr. Joseph J. Marinelli of Macedon, superintendent of the Wayne Finger Lakes BOCES, continues as past president.
All six incumbent vice presidents were re-elected. They are Menzo D. Case of Seneca Falls, vice president of finance; Judge Craig Doran of Canandaigua, vice president of membership and relationships; Joyce Moyer of Palmyra, executive vice president; Larry Driscoll of Seneca Falls, vice president of administration; Duane Pancoast of Victor, vice president of marketing and communications; and Nancy Purdy of Canandaigua, vice president of programs. Case will also continue as council treasurer. Elections were held for the 33 executive board members, including six new members. The new members are Victor Arsenault and Chuck Callari of Farmington, John Conley and Michael Riccio of Canandaigua, Robert McFadden of Geneva and Joseph Neri of Williamson.
The Finger Lakes Council serves nearly 4,000 youth members and 2,000 adult leaders in Ontario, Wayne, Seneca and Yates counties.
