SARAH SWEENEY RECEIVES PHELPS BPW AWARD
|
Sarah Sweeney, daughter of Maria and Joseph Sweeney of Phelps, received the Phelps Business and Professional Women's Club Award for 2005. Sarah plans to pursue a career in nursing at SUNY Brockport.
While a student at Midlakes, she was inducted into the National Honor Society, volunteered for "Vision of Hope" walk to defeat polio, and the Clifton Springs Hospital Physical Therapy. Sarah was involved in sports as co-captain of the girl's basketball and soccer teams, played lacrosse, and worked with the "Little Dribblers" teaching them basketball skills.
