William Yahn
FARMINGTON - William Yahn, 76, died Saturday, July 9, 2005 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Friends called Tuesday, July 12 at Halstead-Patrick Funeral Home in Manchester. Funeral services were Wednesday, July 13 at the funeral home.

William was born Dec. 27, 1928, in Canandaigua, the son of Fred H. and Mathilde Yahn. He was a graduate of Victor High School. He was a cattle dealer and owner and operator of his farm, and was active in many area auctions. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Pumpkin Hook for 37 years.
He is survived by sons, Donald (JoAnn) Yahn of Churchville, Richard (Phyllis) Yahn of Nichols and Kevin (Kate) Yahn of Shortsville; daughters, Sheryll (Ron) Piccirillo of Phelps and Deborah Whyte (Dean Everdyke) of Macedon; three sisters, Helen (Bill) Schwartz of Manchester, Marion Ferris of Farmington and Lillian Yahn of Rochester; two granddaughters, Lisa Yahn and Rebecca (Jeffery) Bliss; one grandson, Richard Yahn, Jr.; three great-grandsons, Bryce Yahn and Mitchell and Evan Bliss; one sister-in-law; two brothers-in-law; and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his wife, Marjorie in 2000; his parents; granddaughter, Torry Lynn Yahn; and son-in-law, Leslie A. Whyte.
Ann N. Wright
SENECA FALLS - Ann N. Wright, 69, of East Bayard Street Extension, died Wednesday, July 13, 2005 at her residence.
Family and friends called Friday, July 15 at the Doran Funeral Home Inc., in Seneca Falls. Funeral services were at the Funeral Home on Saturday, July 16, with the Rev. Marilyn Foster, pastor of the First United Methodist Church in Seneca Falls, officiating. Burial will be in Cangoa Cemetery, Town of Fayette.

Ann was born Dec. 5, 1935, in Lyons Falls, the daughter of the late Glenn and Avis Brown Northrup. She had resided in Seneca Falls since 1981 moving from Saranac Lake. She had been employed at the Johnson Home in Seneca Falls. She also worked in the cafeteria of the Saranac Lake High School.
Ann had been active in snowmobiling in Saranac Lake, where she taught snowmobiling safety courses. She was a former member of the Red Hat Society and a former member of the town of Franklin Board of Assessors.
Ann was an avid craftsperson and participated in many local craft events.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth N. Wright Jr. of Seneca Falls, whom she married May 9, 1954; one daughter, Debra Wright of Waterloo; three sons, Michael Wright of Vermontville, Craig (Darlene) Wright of Saranac Lake and Peter Wright of Phelps; five grandchildren, Paul (Marcia) Shumway, Heather (Michael) Whitney and Shannon, Justin and Samantha Wright; four great-grandchildren, Jackson Wright, Noel Whitney and Charles and Levi Shumway; sister, Avis (Richard) Brown of Duane; one brother, Richard Northrup of Seneca Falls; and several nieces and nephews.
