Deborah A. Cary, who over the past six years has served as a local financial advisor and investor, has recently become associated with the famous financial firm of Massachusetts Mutual, better known as Mass Mutual. In this new association she sees a bright future in the investment fields now available to local patrons and looks forward to her continued service to the public of Clifton Springs and area.
Deborah is a 1999 graduate of St. John Fisher College where she received her BS degree in Financial Management, with a minor in economics. She is married and she and her husband, Patrick, reside on Trimble Road just outside Clifton Springs. Her husband runs his own painting business called, Patrick Cary Painting Inc. The couple has two sons, Brandon who is presently attending FLCC and Andrew who is a junior at Midlakes High School.
Deborah opened her business locally in 1999 with a small office on the second floor of the Coulter Building located in the rear of the Warfield Block. She, over this time, has proven to be an excellent source of information regarding retirement planning especially for employees of G. W. Lisk Co. and the business has grown yearly. In 2004, she was able to obtain new offices in the Foster Block on Main Street in Clifton Springs giving her a more public image. At the time of the move she was associated with the MONY Life Insurance Co. of New York. She has two part-time people on her staff, Carlene Penner and Brandon Jeffery who assist in her expanding line of work. In addition to retirement planning, she and her staff are knowledgeable in estate planning, educational planning and inform clients on the importance of all areas of charitable gifting and life insurance coverage.
Deborah has received several honors regarding her work and is very active in this community. She is a past board member of the local YMCA and past president of the Clifton Springs Rotary Club (2003-2004) where she devoted many hours to projects such as the annual Christmas basket drive and the Rotary annual calendar sales fund raiser. In her free time, "Deb" enjoys, in addition to her family, gardening and the great outdoors where she loves to travel when time permits.
Deborah wishes to inform the general public at large that she has recently become an associate with the firm of Mass Mutual, which has been in business for some 153 years. This firm presently manages assets of in excess of 285 billion dollars and has over 10 million clients. It is ranked 90th on the Fortune 500 list and holds the exceptional rating of AAA on the Standard & Poor's market. Mass Mutual is also listed as a best company (AA+) by Moody's Investors Services.
