THE '05 SAUERKRAUT CHALLENGE

In it's 39th year, The Phelps Sauerkraut Festival committee has found it necessary to do some very significant scrambling. Without their resourceful efforts, there would not be an '05 Festival.
Construction of the new fire hall for the Phelps Fire Department is taking up much of the firemen's field, requiring the midway to relocate to the other side of the driveway. Buildings also had to be moved and/or replaced. The last building move was not completed until the week before the festival.
These folks certainly deserve a lot of credit for their outstanding effort. Here's to a successful '05 Sauerkraut Festival!!!
