A little mud and a lot of humidity didn't slow down either of these two teams who fought out a close battle for a tie breaking spot in the standings. For Halfway Haus: Wendy Newfrock and Sharon Costantino both had triples. Sharon got everyone's attention with a deep ball bouncing into the woods for a ground rule double. Canandaigua National Bank 9

It was a pitchers dual this time around for C&C Enterprises and CNB. Both pitchers keep the bats in check of the other team. CNB was lead by Barb Finch and Sara Wyland who both went 3-3. Donna Leone also turned in a good performance going 3-4. Monica McLaughlin and Laura King also added two hits each. CNB played some good team defense. Cindy Romeiser, Barb Finch and Monica McLaughlin turned a double play in the last inning to seal the game for CNB. It was a good hard fought game by both teams. Nice job Ladies.
