A close one but Monroe-Gorman took the win in this neck & neck final game of the season. 3rd basement, Annette Parson threw two runners out at 1st and another at 2nd base along with tagging two runners out at 3rd. You go girl! Tight defense kept a low score. Single base hits made the runs Monroe-Gorman during this game. Pitcher Tracy Miller had 4 singles and struck out 1 batter. Becky Collins, Kim Washington, Tesha Parson and Sam Reyonlds all had 2 singles each For Mickey Finns: Mary Thompson went 3-3 tonight with 3 singles. Christy Cutri, Mindy Kinnear, Darlene Teller and Kim Coffey all went 2-3 at bats. Erin Sroka added a pair of singles going 2-4. Linda Christensen also belted out 2 nice hits.

For Thompson: Yvonne King went 3 - 3 with a double; while pitcher Kim Pozzanghera offered up five strike outs. That was the first time Kim has ever had 5 strike outs in one game.

For Patchen: Heather Webb and Andrea Morganti both had triples while Wendy Wright went 3-4 with three singles. Terri Plunkett had a double. For CNB: Monica McLaughlin went 3 for 3 with two homeruns and four RBI's

The big story last night was homeruns! McGhan's hit 5 homeruns: Monica Gleason hit 2 while Jenn Cooper, Paula Rice, and Sue Taylor each hit 1.
