Taekwon-Do Jon Tong
|
On Saturday august 20th, three students along with Head Instructor Andy Reinhardt were promoted to 2nd degree black belt. The students and instructor were graded in advanced basic motion, self defense, patterns/forms and multiple board breaking, along with Korean terminology, and Tae kwon do history as per requirements from the International Taekwon- Do Federation.
The Students are - Kim Lyday, Anthony Reinhardt, Riley Trautman and Andy Reinhardt.
Tradtional Taekwon-Do is the Korean art of Self Defense founded by General Choi Hong Hi in 1955. Our School was founded by master instructor Tom Jasinski who now resides in North Carolina. Andy Reinhardt is the head instructor and resides in Clifton Springs.
Tae kwon do Jon Tong has classes Mon, Wed., and Friday from 6:15-7:15 in the gym at the YMCA on Crane Street. If you are interested in joining, contact Instructor Andy Reinhardt at 462.2041.
