Granger Homestead seeks entries for 2005 Festival of Trees
|
The Granger Homestead Festival of Trees is an annual indoor event featuring holiday themed decorative entries created by community businesses, organizations, youth groups, clubs and individuals. The event draws more than 2,000 visitors and is an excellent showcase for participants. The Festival will be held in the Homestead at 295 North Main Street, Canandaigua for three weeks, from November 11th to December 4th.
Decorative displays from past events have included full-size and table-top trees, wreaths, mantel displays, table decorations, and ornamental fabric items such as quilts, stockings and tree skirts.
There is no entry fee to participate and each participant or organization will receive two passes for the elegant Preview Reception. Participants are encouraged to donate their entry to a silent auction to benefit the Granger Homestead, or they may loan their items for display during the Festival.
