Poem of the Week
|
By Ralph J. Adams
LOVE EACH DAY
Did you kiss your wife this morning
Before you started your day
Did you say how much you love her
In your own little precious way
Do you appreciate the many things
Around the house she does for only you
Just let her know you noticed them
With just a little kiss or two.
A little pat on the shoulder
Does not hurt now and then
Just tell her she is a lovely wife
And your own most precious friend
Do these things while you're together
And live each day and make it great
For tomorrow she might not be around
And then it will be too late
So before you go to bed at night
And before you turn off your light.
Just lean over and kiss her and say
I love you dear and have nice dreams
For tomorrow together hand in hand
We still start another, loving day
