LETTER TO THE EDITOR

Dear Mr. Bowdren,
We subscribe to the Community Trader. Midlakes sports column is a joke! Volleyball, soccer, tennis and golf is all that is written about. Midlakes has a JV Football team with a 6 and 0 record, but not a word about this in the paper. Don't you think these kids deserve a pat on the back? Also not a word about the Varsity Football. If you are going to write a sports column, be fair to all the sports or maybe we won't bother to renew our subscription.

Editors Note: It is certainly understandable that you would want Midlakes football covered with family involved in the sport. Our Sports coverage is done on a volunteer basis as we cannot afford paid reporting. Our sports coverage tends to cover the sports our volunteer has an interest in. We are most grateful for whatever coverage we can get.
On that note, if you or anyone else, would like to submit an article on Midlakes football, we would be happy to print it. Photos would also be welcome.
