The November 2005 Chamber Business of the Month
The November 2005 Chamber Business of the Month is Hartman Hand & Occupational Therapy of Clifton Springs PC, located at 420 Clifton Springs Professional Park, specializes in the rehabilitation of hand and upper extremity conditions. These conditions include fracture management, tendon repairs, arthritis, carpal tunnel syndrome, tennis elbow, tendonitis, and various others. Functional capacity evaluations, customized splinting, and work re-conditioning programs are also provided. Owned and operated by Steven Egidi OTR, in partnership with John Hartman OTR/CHT, this clinic has had numerous success stories over its two-year existence. Rehabilitation services are furnished upon referral from a Physician. Tammy Egidi LMT also provides therapeutic massage therapy services through the clinic on an appointment basis.
Following graduation from the University of Buffalo in 1991, Steve relocated to Ft. Myers, Florida, where he met his wife to be, Tammy. He worked in both inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation facilities where he provided patient care and managed day-to-day operations as Director of Rehabilitation. He has attended continuing education workshops all over the country that focus on upper extremity rehabilitation. Tammy worked as a Physical Therapy Assistant and Licensed Massage Therapist for a large Neurology practice, and specialized in neck and back care. They welcomed the opportunity to return to New York in 2003, with their two children, Cassidy and Evan. The move provided a career challenge, and reunited them with family and friends in the area.
