Affectionately known as "Donnie Bob" to those who knew him all his life and "DONALD" when Jean was perturbed at him, Don was a lifetime resident of Clifton Springs. He graduated from Clifton Springs High School in 1954, where he was a gifted athlete, especially in basketball and baseball.       Don spent his career as an X-ray technician and ultimately chief technologist at F.F. Thompson Hospital, from which he retired in 1996. Until his illness prevented it, Don enjoyed golf, spending time with his spoiled dog, Pip, and most of all the "give and take" with his friends and especially his son, Roy.
Don will be missed beyond words by those who carry on, his wife, Jean; children, Robert (Marybeth) Ostrander, Roy Landschoot, Ann (Scott) Landschoot; 10 grandchildren and brothers and sisters, Dick, Dorothy, Pat, Janie, Linda, Carol, and Ruth.
