Christmas Around the World in Clifton Springs!
We are thankful to our area friends, Mrs. Adams (Puerto Rico), Mrs. Gilman (Germany), Mrs. Valerio (Italy), Cathy McGrath (Ireland), Henry O'Connor (Holland), Miss Mai (Laos) and Miss Marycon (Philippines) for introducing to the bigger world that is out there. Through their sharing of stories, songs and dance, we learned to say Merry Christmas in Native Languages and played with typical country center activities. We sometimes worked on an art activity depicting something unique to that nationality. A Fiesta was held on the final day of our trip, where interesting ethnic foods were introduced and enjoyed. Spanish music rang in the background adding a little flair to our Christmas Festivities.
