METHODIST DINNER
Over 100 area men attended a 'Game Dinner' put on by the men of the Clifton
Springs United Methodist Church on January 28th.
Some of the game served was ...goose, duck, bison, African Oryx - (cousin
to an antelope), tuna and Alaskan Halibut, as well as venison in various
forms. The venison was prepared as a roast, in chili, Swedish meatballs, &
venison stroganoff.
After the dinner, DEC officer David Odell presented a program on "Chronic
Wasting Disease in Wild Deer."
