The Taylor-Brown Auxiliary, which serves the Huntington Living Center in Waterloo, capped off 2005 with its "Festival of Stars" memorial fundraiser. The holiday campaign raised $1,645 which will be used to benefit the residents of the Living Center. William S. Garrity, administrator of the Living Center, welcomed everyone to the holiday party and sing-along that was held for the residents and their families complete with refreshments and a visit from Santa and one of his elves.
Marie Johnston of Waterloo was the lucky winner of a snowman-themed gift basket donated by Auxiliary Chapter 7. An additional $542 was raised though the drawing. Also, Auxiliary Chapter 6 donated two baby quilts which earned another $87. Winners of the quilt drawing were Esther McElligott of Seneca Falls and Gail DeLair of Waterloo.
