The Lighthouse
The lighthouse stands on solid rock,
Reaching out with its wide strong beam,
Some weary sailor lost at sea, will receive it's welcome gleam.
We are like that sailor in our lives, who are shrouded in clouds of gray,
And need that beam within our lives to direct and lead our way.
Jesus is that beam in our live who will let the sunshine through,
Lift that awful fog in our life, and make our life anew.
So open up your heart today, and start on bended knee,
And welcome Jesus in your life, and you will plainly see,
That each and every day and hour with him in your soul,
Your burdens will all disappear, and your live will be whole.
