     ENGAGEMENT ANNOUNCEMENT
     
      Norma J. Marketell of Webster has announced the engagement of her daughter, Lauren Marketell of Canandaigua, to Assemblyman Brian Kolb, the son of the late Bernard and Rita Kolb of Honeoye.
      Marketell, also the daughter of the late Robert Marketell, attended State University at Buffalo for musical theatre and choreography. She is a restaurant manager and personal trainer.
      Kolb is a graduate of Roberts Wesleyan College, where he received a master of science degree in management. He is a New York state legislator.
      An Oct. 14, 2006 wedding is planned.
