It's purpose is to focus public attention on the unique contribution of professional school counselors within our school systems. National School Counseling Week highlights the tremendous impact that counselors play in helping students to achieve personal success and plan for their future careers.
"Our school counselors address the personal, academic and career goals of all students and deserve special thanks for their tireless work and advocacy," said Senator Nozzolio.
Steve Goldberg, School Counselor at Hillside Children's Center Varick Campus said "Each year Senator Nozzolio makes it a point to recognize the contributions counselors
make in the lives of our children and we thank him for his continued support."
