It's All In the Family!

In last week's issue of the Community Trader, the front page featured the Frederick Farm, which was the Phelps Chamber of Commerce Business of the month for March. But that's not all the Frederick family has to be proud of! They also have their own "Sister Act" going.
In February of this year, Jaimee Frederick received an award from the school that read as follows: Good Character of the Month, Compassion, Award is Presented to Jaimee Frederick (For consistently displaying behaviors that are responsible, honest, respectful, polite, and having a caring heart).
This award was dated Feb. 10th, 2006, and was signed by her teacher, Mrs. Farr and the principle, Mrs. Cameron.
An award dated March 3rd, 2006 signed by Midlakes High School principle L. Bley stated: Student of Character Midlakes High School, This certificate is presented to Jeannette Frederick ( In recognition of exhibiting the positive character traits of Integrity and Honesty).
This wouldn't be terribly unusual except that Jaimee Frederick, is a 6 year old first grade student in the district, and Jeannette Frederick is an 18 year old senior in the same district. These sisters, at opposite ends of the school were both awarded awards for positive character a month apart.
Jaimee's favorites things in school are recess, gym, art, music, and lunch. She plays in summer soccer through the YMCA.
Jeannette is will be studying pre-physical therapy at Roberts Wesleyan College next fall. She is also an avid soccer player, as well as playing softball and indoor track, all while taking four advanced placement classes in her current studies, and placing in the top 10 of her class.
Needless to say, parents John and Jan Frederick are genuinely proud parents!
