Clifton Springs Baptist Church Youth Make Mother's Day Special

The children's Sunday School Class of the Clifton Springs Baptist Church had a surprise for the congregation this past Sunday. They took over the entire service from start to finish. Gospel Readings, announcements, prayers, and even the morning message were all handled by the children. The morning message was performed in the style of a skit in which the children were trying to decide whose mother should win the best mother of the year. After discussing the good and "not-so-good" things about each mother, the group decided to disrupt the entire nomination process and make all of their mothers the "Mother of the Year".
The children who participated in the service were Sierra Adams, Calla Cumings, Kea Smith, Emily Lo Tempio, and John and Anna Rau.
Congratulations to the kids and their teacher, Ogla Adams, and others who worked so hard to put this program together. It made Mother's Day truly special for everyone there.
