Letter to the Editor:
What a wonderful community I live in. Under the leadership of Suni owner of Village Green Florist and Carolyn of Clifton Springs Hardware, they organized a community Mother's Day Essay Contest. They received over 300 entries from ages K thru Adult. Everyone's mother is a winner in their child's eyes. The judges had a tough decision.
As one of the chosen mothers, I would like to thank all the organizers and sponsors of the contest. A special thank you goes to my daughter, Katie who provided the wonderful words in my honor and my son Benjamin who encouraged his sister to so. I now know the reason for all the whispering!
What a wonderful Surprise! Thank you for all the gifts and the special attention that I received which made me feel like a Queen. Our community maybe small but it is a very caring and supportive.
