Anastasia J. Denison
CLIFTON SPRINGS - Anastasia Denison, 83, of Broad St., passed away Friday, Aug. 18, 2006 at Newark-Wayne Community Hospital.
Friends called Tuesday, Aug. 22 at the Patrick Funeral Home in Clifton Springs, where services followed. Burial was Wednesday, Aug. 23 in Riverview Cemetery.
Friends may contribute to the Finger Lakes Community Cancer Center, or to the Clifton Springs Fire Department in Anastasia's memory.
Anastasia was born Jan. 2, 1923, in Clifton Springs, the daughter of Edward and Bernetta Lindner, and had lived in the area all of her life. She worked for the Clifton Springs Hospital for many years. Anastasia loved to spend her time with her family whom she adored. She will be sadly missed.
Anastasia is survived by her daughter, Ann Denison of Clifton Springs; sister, Jane Maslyn of Clifton Springs; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, William, in 1972; sisters, Sally and Margaret; and brother, Edward.
Gladys M. Edwards
CLIFTON SPRINGS - Gladys M. Edwards, 85, of Kendall Street, traveled to heaven Wednesday, Aug. 23, 2006 at Clifton Springs Nursing Home.
There were no calling hours. A memorial service was Monday, Aug. 28 at the Clifton Springs Hospital Chapel.
Memorial contributions may be sent to the Ontario County Humane Society.
Gladys was born June 20, 1921, in Hornell. She graduated from Haverling High School in 1939. She then received her registered nursing degree from Arnot-Ogden Memorial Hospital School of Nursing in 1943. She practiced nursing in several capacities, but spent the majority of her career caring for the employees of Garlocks in Palmyra. She and Raymond Edwards wed on July 4, 1967 and resided at 48 Kendall St. for many years.
She is survived by loving friends, who became family, Eileen, Michael, Michaela and Jack Tiffany of Phelps; sister, June Craig of Boulder, Colo.; five nephews and their wives, Paul (Holly) Craig of Sacramento, Calif., Bob (Karen) Craig of Boulder, Colo., Jef (Deb) Craig of Grass Valley, Calif., John (Keng-Lianghuang) Craig of Gainsville, Fla. And Bill (Chi) Craig of Westminster, Calif.
She was predeceased by her husband, Raymond in 1993; her father; her mother, Frances Hasselwander in 1985; her sister, Mary; and her niece, Sheila.
Olga Biletzky
FORT MEYERS, Fla./DUNDEE - Mrs. Olga Biletzky, 87, of Fort Meyers, Fla., and formerly of Dundee, where she had been a resident for many years before moving to Fort Meyers, died Tuesday, Aug. 22, 2006 at Shell Point Retirement Village.
Friends called Saturday, Aug. 26 at the Coe-Genung Funeral Home in Waterloo. The funeral followed at the funeral home. Father Mark Brewer, parochial administrator of Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Community of Penn Yan, officiated. Burial will be in St. Michael's Cemetery in Penn Yan.
Memorial contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society or American Heat Association.
Olga was born Jan. 20, 1919, in New York City, the daughter of John and Theodora Stawnycza Blahun.
She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Christine Woodard-Decelles and Bernie Decelles of Fort Meyers, Fla.; one son, Stephen J. Biletzky of Phelps; two grandchildren, Eric Biletzky and Lisa Doyle; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Stephen D. Biletzky; two sisters, Rose Siwak and Katherine Stasko; and one son-in-law, Paul Woodard.
