Medicare Part D as writ 'bout afore, is a problem fer seniors, especially when they've reached first level drug costs. Which by the way is at total cost of the prescription, not co-pay amount. Dint' know that. Seniors hafta pay full price up t' fifty one hundred total, then govmint picks up most of it. Here's the problem, 'cording' t' "Doc Pilltile." Most prescriptions are quite expensive, so's first level is reached real quick like fer seniors with multiple scripts fer cholesterol, blood pressure, etc. However, many cain't afford full price so's they'll go without the medications since it becomes choice twixt food, rent or drugs. Meanin' it'll take longer t' reach the next level. Another problem is formulary drugs. Many third party plans have developed drugs they won't pay fer, so's patients hafta pay the full shot, which don't count toward the higher total.
"Doc" also noted confusion was over plans. Wegman's sed most their patients on EPIC. Problem there is many seniors switched from EPIC t' other plans. Many retirees lost company sponsored programs when part D took effect.
Here's the deal: AARP, your Congressman an' lobbyists sold seniors down the river with the Part D program. It's expense will force cuts t' be made, jes like proposed welfare an' Medicare cuts. Seniors should complain at town meetin's of national politicians about program's problems. Legislators won't listen, Hillary an' Chuck have their "persona ignora" file an' attitudes. Part D was legislated by drug companies, for drug companies an' benefittin' drug companies. It was stupid t' formulate a new program when EPIC parameters were in place an' had worked fer over twenty years. Dang, fergot, EPIC din't have lobbyists in its favor. "Doc" sed there's gonna be a lotta hurtin' seniors afore high level kicks in, which'll increase Medicare costs because they cain't pay fer drugs on their social security.
Much other news, most don't affect common people tryin' t' make ends meet. Truce in the Middle East won't hold, take it t' the bank. Scenario is quite simple, Hezbollah will replace Lebanon's elected democratic govmint with Muslim govmint, tell UN t' remove troops. Iran'll give them longer distance missiles t' destroy Israel. Notice the word, destroy. Sixty Minutes had an interview with Iran's president, typical propaganda stuff, too bad Mike Wallace din't get answers. Guess he's losin' it, or hasta kowtow t' add t' his reputation.
Terrorism scare showed Brit's intelligence is superior t' ours, although if y' notice Bush took the credit fer it. Watch fer terrorism threats emphasized in '06 election t' maintain Republican control. Rove's got the scenario down pat. Keep the electorate scared, they'll re-elect incumbents.
Final note 'bout nuances: Lieberman's lost because rich along Connecticut's gold coast registered demmycrat. Nuance is while they're protestin' whatever, they're afraid their kids might hafta join the terrorism fight. Final point is NO incumbent deserves re-election, includin' Kuhl, Clinton, an' others throughout the nation. Bet they're shakin' in their boots! 'Nuff sed', or is it?
