Graham and Elizabeth Sharman Celebrate 50th Anniversary
|
Graham and Elizabeth (Call) Sharman celebrated their 50th anniversary with their children and grandchildren on August 27th. The couple was married August 25th, 1956 at St. John's Church in Brome, Quebec, Canada. Originally moving to New York State in 1967, the Sharmans have lived in Geneva since 1979 when they purchased Big Oak Golf Course. The couple has six children: Susan (Frank) Coviello of Fort Lauderdale, FL; Alan (deceased) of Quebec, Canada; Norman (Carol) of Waterloo; David (Maureen) of Geneva; Jeffrey (Mary) of Rochester; and Christopher (Alyson) of Elmira. They have thirteen grandchildren. Prior to purchasing the golf course, Mr. Sharman was an industrial engineer in the textile industry. Mrs. Sharman works as a home health aide and is active in community organizations and volunteering.
