EXTENSION OFFERS TRAINING FOR CHILD CARE WORKERS
     Canandaigua - The 21st annual Child Caregiver's Workshop Day sponsored by Cornell Cooperative Extension and the Community Partners was held on September 30 at the Canandaigua Middle School. This year 205 participants attended the conference, along with 20 different company or agency exhibitors. Child Care providers received five training hours for this one-day event. NYS regulations currently require that operators, program directors, employees and assistants of registered family child care homes; licensed group family child care homes; licensed child care centers and registered school age programs complete 30 hours of training during their registration/license period...[Read full story]
